You simply have to choose the correct fuse. For the UK the fuses are as follows: 3amps, 5amps, 7amps and 11amps. Appliances should have fuses which blow at a current which is above their rated current. for example an appliance which is rated 7 amps should have a 13 amp fuse because a 7amp fuse would blow at the appliance's rated current.
