3.5 know and use the relationship between the speed, frequency and wavelength of a wave


wave speed = frequency × wavelength
v = f × λ

I found this equation daunting at first, as I was struggling to realise the difference between frequency and wave speed, so just a note: the frequency is the number of waves per second, whereas wave speed is how far those waves together have travelled per second, hence the equation. Hope this has helped and I'm sorry if not. Thanks Hannah.
